NEW ROSS- Mrs. Emily Alma Hardee, 98, died at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a grandson, Robert Fisher, near New Ross. She had been ill two weeks. Born Oct. 29, 1860, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Marcus and Sarah Evans Gulley. She married William Hardee Dec. 25, 1877. Mrs. Hardee was a member of the West Branch, Mich. Methodist Church. Surviving are five grandchildren, William Fisher of Cayuga, Robert and Jack Fisher of New Ross, Mrs. Josephine Thompson of Cayuga and Mrs. Helen Tribfeiner of Bay City, Mich.; 13 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and four daughters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Noble Reeves Funeral Home at New Market. Interment will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home beginning at noon Friday.
